Blog Post #18- Filming

 First Film Session

This weekend I wanted to try to get a lot of filming done. I originally asked my actor, Mylah to come over Saturday night but she had an appointment and it ran too long so we were not able to film. The next day we were able to film though. I began filming with the picnic scene.

At first I did not have a picnic basket and I really did not want to go out and spend money on one. I asked family and friends if they had a picnic basket I could borrow and my grandmother said I could use hers. I started by packing food and cutlery into the picnic basket for Steve and Lacy's picnic. I had both of my actors and myself helping pack up the picnic basket.

We originally went to moon lake park to look for a spot to film but we could not find anywhere that caught my eye. We then drove to Starkey Wilderness Preserve- Serenova Tract. There they had this really nice area by the trees and water that would be a great place to film. We set up the picnic area and put out all of the food we brought to make it look more real.

I had my mother behind the scenes there to take photos of me while I filmed. Here is one photos she took while we were setting up. I got some really great shots here that I think could make the Final Cut! In all I'm very proud of all the work we put in today and the outcome of it.
