 Editing #2

        For my next editing blog I edited the scene of them dating and then breaking up. I had a bunch of different shots to use for this scene but I wasn't able to use all of them. In this scene it shows Steve and Lacy on two different dates and being a couple then, it goes to the break up part. I have two different types of shots to use in a bunch of different angles. Pieced together it looked like this. 

        I made sure to do a few different shots but some of the scenes didn't turn out well because of the sun. Mainly in the shots at the mini golf course with the alligators the sun was in the way and there was a glare looking back at the footage. I did not watch my footage when I was there and I think that is something I would have changed if I could go back and reshot. With the footage that I do have that turned out well I don't think it is necessary for me to go back and re shoot.

        When editing I added in the dialogue from my VoiceOver and made sure that when the break up part began the shot would line up with it. I also added in transitional pieces where I thought they would belong.  I continued to use VN Editor throughout the edits because it is an easy beginner friendly free editing software. When I add all of the scenes together in the end to produce my final cut, The beginning and end my be cut a little but in all I think that it will look good all together.
